What is MEV?

Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) refers to the value that can be extracted from blockchain transactions by validators and network participants through re-ordering, inserting, or censoring transactions. Essentially, MEV involves manipulating the order of transactions within a block to maximize profit, often to the detriment of regular users by exploiting their slippage limits.
